Mark has been in the piano tuning trade for the past 38 years and considers himself a master craftsman.He did his apprenticehip with Palings&Co and after a short stint working for the Australian Academy of Music, has operated his own business since then on the Sunshine Coast.

 

He is an active member of the Queensland Piano Tuners & Technicians Guild and also a financial member of the Australasian Piano Tuners and Technicians Guild and was on the organizing comitee for their international conference in 2009.

Mark has a passion for music, and is a perfectionist in his work. Clients include The Noosa Music Society whose guests have included concert pianists Piers Lane, Barry Douglas and Nikolai Demidenko; the Gympie Regional  Council; James Morrison, and he tuned for the Cold Chisel Concert 2011. Mark  also is the regular tuner for various schools and music teachers on the coast.
